Marketing Director – Veterinary Provider

Compass Corporate Services were exclusively engaged by a leading Private Equity backed Veterinary Provider to secure a Group Marketing Director for the business.

A thorough search of the market was undertaken to identify appropriate candidates who had the capability and aptitude to be able to manage in excess of 30 brands, and be able to set the strategic direction to drive the business forward. A generalist marketing professional was sought, as responsibilities were broad – ranging from strategic planning, brand development, customer insight and engagement, through to campaign management, operational implementation, and providing overarching leadership to the marketing function and its portfolio of brands.

A shortlist of 10 candidates were presented to the senior leadership team, with half invited to interview. This led to two candidates being invited back to give a presentation to the Chief Executive and Finance Director – before a unanimous decision was reached, offer extended and start date established.
